White Lotus Art gallery and tattoo was created by visual artist and tattoo artist, Alicia Vasquez. The private art studio also serves as an art gallery and tattoo studio for the collection of her artworks. Her goal is create a soothing and qualitative atmosphere where any visitors may gain inspiration and/or rejunventation in themselves through the natural pieces in the studio as well as through her artwork. All works that she creates are one of a kind and the gallery also serves as a host for other artists and makers with work that also serves the purpose of the gallery.

MEET THE ARTIST

ALICIA VASQUEZ

​Visual Artist, Alicia Vasquez’s artworks introduce the natural world through patterns, color, and the many other naturalistic elements such as botanicals, animals, and human figures.  Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, she received her bachelor’s degree in illustration from the Cleveland Institute of Art. Growing up from a very diverse multicultural background, A lot of her artwork themes portray those inspirations of unity and togetherness alongside her love for nature, and spiritual journey as an artist. Alicia opened White Lotus Art Gallery and Tattoo in April 2024 and works full time as a public artist/ muralist and as a professional tattoo artist.

Tattoo Aftercare / Booking Policies

Tattoo Aftercare ​ -Leave on the BSN (recovery derm bandage) for at least 72 hours before taking off. -This is a water/weather proof bandage that should stay on until it is physically removed. -When taking off the bandage please take off slowly and carefully over running water  -Wash any excess ink and adhesive off by gently rubbing (NOT scrubbing)  -After the bandage has been removed and the tattoo is thoroughly cleaned you may then take care of your tattoo like normal.  -Wash the tattoo no more then 2-3x per day (or as needed to keep it clean)  -Apply a thin layer of Aquaphor Healing Ointment® to your tattoo 2-3x a day or as needed (make sure that the ointment is thinly applied and thoroughly absorbed. Do not allow thick or heavy layers of the product to sit on top of the skin for extended amount of time)  Activities to AVOID:  -Playing sports where you have a high risk of sliding or falling on the area where your fresh tattoo is located. -Excessive swimming/dwelling in (chlorine) pool water  -Extended time in the sun(tanning) and high heat or moist environments where sweat or water will suffice on your fresh tattoo for long periods of time (sauna or steam room) Laser skin treatments or other skin treatments around the area where your fresh tattoo is located Seek professional medical attention if you:  -Experience high levels of pain and throbbing for more than 4 days  -Swelling seems to be getting worse and you see any discoloration around the area
